Hi, folks - surprised you! Jocelyn & three healthy baby boys are all doing fine - 4 lbs 11 oz, 4 lbs 5 oz, 4 lbs 6 oz. You'll have to got to the website for photos, but Jocelyn delivered suddenly at 6:40 PM this evening. As it turns out, my website is the fastest way that I can get photos to all our friends & relatives. So after Jocelyn started to conk out after all the hoopla was over, I came back here & uploaded the photos I took with my camcorder. Only took 15 minutes or so. I was in the middle of updating my website with new printmaster stuff when Jocelyn called and away I went. Got there in time, but they weren't going to wait for me! The adventure begins!! Thanks for all the well-wishes! Michael & Jocelyn.

Wow! Thanks to all for caring and sharing notes about your furry pals. They have really brightened my otherwise dismal day. I feel like I have friends here, it's a good feeling! Non pet lovers can't understand how much they get to be part of the family - unfortunately, I have to include my SO in that group, but to his credit, he cried too when I had to bring her. Larry> now I know how YOU felt ... BTW did you get my E-mail THIS time???

OK...who's the official one that's going to let us all know about the triplets, that is besides Michael? I can just see him now, last one is out, he leans over and gives Jocelyn a little peck on the cheek, and off to the computer he goes to jump on the chat and update his page. Linda, so sorry to hear about your little friend. I had to do that last July with Gin-Gin that I'd had since she was 3, she was 15 when I had to let her go. 2 days later, we saved another little one that had her D-day coming up in 3 days from then at the shelter. We hadn't planned to add to the family that quickly, but she needed a family and we needed a little furry one. It helped me get through the sorrow a little easier, having a little one to hold on to and catch my tears. Best wishes to you.

What kind of Mac do you have? RAM and Mhz? Of course that's why they finally came up with the Patch!...Bet Maurice never loses his socks because his wife is probably one of those neat people who take the time to hook them together before she puts them in the dryer!! Hi Doreen, the easiest way is to use the Windows Explorer. (Programs > Explorer) Find the Juno directory. Click on it. It will show subdirectories. Click on each one separately. It will show files each time. Hold down the CNTRL key will you click on each file. They will all become highlighted. Once that accomplished, click on FILE and DELETE. Say YES if asked. Do the same for each subdirectory and finally for the Juno directory itself. You will easily gain about 8 MB on your hard drive. Maurice.

Hi Jackie, when you batch convert files, all the files still stay separate. They never become one huge file. So, I don't think you will have the same problem. --- By the way, I live in the southwest of Arizona, where it is always warm, even in the deepest of winter. Hence, we never use socks. Hi Everybody, the Tgrade program that Stuart discovered is a beauty. Some people (including Eleanor) had trouble installing it. The installation is a bit confusing, I must admit. The simple ZIPped download version does not contain DLL nor OLE files, necessary for it to run. It relies on your system already having those files installed when you installed Visual Basic. That is why it will complain at installation that certain DLL files are missing, if you don't have Visual Basic installed on your system. For those who are experiencing that problem, please go the TEK site itself, http://village.infoweb.ne.jp/~tek/index.htm and download the FULL INSTALLATION SUPPORT program. But DO NOT USE THIS VERSION OF YOU HAVE VISUAL BASIC ALREADY INSTALLED ON YOUR SYSTEM. (It would replace certain system files and your MPEG movies would not play anymore) But the full installation version is easy to install, the usual way through "install/remove programs" in Setup. Maurice.

Hi Linda, First, let me tell you how sorry I was to read about your loss of one of your pets. Having been through that a few times, myself, it is rough and it takes a lot out of you. On another note, thank you for teaching me something about Windows that I had never seen -- knew there were hidden files but thought that if I initiated a File Search they would tell me that! Welll...I found a ton of dll and V files but, unfortunately, none of them was a VB40032.dll or even the one Maurice had found on his, the VB0032.dll. So, I don't know if we ever had one but the time I spent was not wasted. It was a learning experience. Now, if only the gremlins who took away my file, would put it back. Do you think it got stuck in the toe of that missing sock??

Michael just visited your page to download that candy wrapper. Stuarts demo was great. Yes, I saw the second page. For anyone viewing it make sure you click on the box and drag it down on the bottom because there is more hidden on the page. Michael, how is your wife feeling? We can't wait to hear about the triplets.... Thanks Doreen PS Hope your feeling better

Eleanor, When you open Explorer, go to VIEW and make sure that Show All Files is selected. Normally windows hides .dll files (and some other types as well). Good luck!

Hi again, Maurice....Just spent the better part of an hour looking in Windows System Files, going through the Explorer and then the "Find File" program, also went through the entire Help menu and cannot find even one VB file. Not only that, searched for "dll" files and came up with only one and that not related. I have downloaded other shareware without a problem. Can't figure this one out!! I am wondering if it became deleted and if I can reinstall it using the Windows 95 CD. Don't really know how to accomplish that, either. Oh, well, maybe it will remain one of the unsolved cyber mysteries.....Thanks for trying....Eleanor

Good morning Eleanor, we are just rubbing the sleep out of our eyes here in Arizona. --- That file VB0032.DLL can be found in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ -- I found it in both our Win95 and Win31 systems. It might be a good idea to use the Windows Explorer and copy that file from C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM to the new directory of the gradient program. Newly installed programs (especially shareware) sometimes have trouble finding needed DLL files in \SYSTEM\ ---Curiously mine did not complain when I installed it on the Win95 computer. Maurice.

Hi Maurice, Saw your post and tried it, found the Tek Gradator, downloaded it and am now getting an error message that a "necessary file, VB40032.DLL is missing". This, of course, is like Greek to me and I just wondered if you have any idea what that means? Stuart left a message later that I just saw and maybe I will just wait until his e-mail comes through and see if that one works. Thanks to all who gave the net address.....Eleanor

I have been attended sockanon where I have learned to break the co-dependency pattern of sock hunting. If we continue to help them find their socks we are only supporting their habit or losing them. Now I haven't had a man in residence for two years and Aunt Snoopy is saying,"Oh, yeah?" Daisy, shame on you, had you run out of places to send Larry's sock? My only recourse is to visit AZ to watch Maurice dance until the furor dies down.On to business, (no chit-chatty) I should have read Michael's tip first about changing PM's. So I guess you put stuff like the Victorian Album in a different directory first. Right? There's so many new software programs out now,it is awesome. Larry, I sent your sock to Daisy's washing machine so she's gonna have to answer her husband's query, "And who's sock is THIS?" Have a "kick your heels" day. Bev and Shug.

Well after an entire evening trying to do something that is probably impossible I'm ready to just junk the whole thing and go back to snail mail. Hi Daisy am glad to see your here tonight. I had a dog that I raised from a 2 week puppy and when he got cancer at the age of 10 I just couldn't do what needed to be done. He was so loyal and loving. But when he looked up at me with his big beautiful brown eyes I just couldn't put him through anymore pain. I almost killed me to do it but in my heart of hearts I knew it was for his best and only my own selfishness that made me keep him that long....These little furry friends are as dear at times as our own family...Sorry to be so long winded...Sharon

I haven't installed new one yet, thats for tomorrow, it arrived right before work today and I just got home. i wanted to say thanks again, I really appreciate all the help everyone gives here. Click on the second link NEWEST SHAREWARE. Then in the small GO window, make sure you see WIN 95-98 SOFTWARE and click on GO. Then click on WIN 95 MULTIMEDIA AND GRAPHICS TOOLS. Then under the listing of GRAPHICS TOOLS, click on GRAPHICS EDITORS. And finally find the TEK GRADATOR and download it. There might be a more direct path, but why argue with success, right?
