          PLAY GRID - Each player places their ships on their own play grid
                      and records their its at the appropriate location as
                      marked on the grid.

     TARGETING GRID - Players use this grid to record their own hits and
                      misses.

      HIT INDICATOR - Flashes red when one of the players scores a hit with
                      a missile.

 COORDINATE DISPLAY - Displays the missile coordinates when playing against
                      the computer.

      ON/OFF SWITCH - Turns on the Sea Battle computer.

       START BUTTON - Press after ships coordinates have been entered to
                      start the game.

        MODE SELECT - Allows you to select one of the game variations.

             VERIFY - You can verify the position of your ships when
                      playing against the computer by pressing this key.

  ENTER/FIRE BUTTON - Press this key to enter the coordinates of your ships
                      or to fire a missile at your opponent's ships.

POSITION ENTRY KEYS - Press to indicate the grid position you want to enter
                      either as a firing coordinate or as a ship's
                      position.  Each key is labeled with both a letter and
                      a number.  The first press of a position entry key is
                      taken as a letter, the second press is taken as a
                      number.

        CANCEL SHIP - Cancel ships that have been entered.

            RED PEG - Use to indicate when you or your opponent has scored
                      a hit.

          WHITE PEG - Use to indicate when you or your opponent has missed.
